Join us for a community event in the Upper Conestoga River watershed to learn about soil health and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's work on an Advanced Restoration Plan developed in 2024.

The event will feature a presentation on soil health led by Andrew LeFever from The Nature Conservancy and Mid-Atlantic 4R Nutrient Stewardship Association. Andrew will share information about a NRCS CIG project to measure nitrogen uptake in corn and wheat fields in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Participants will also learn more about the priorities within the Advanced Restoration Plan for Upper Conestoga and have an opportunity to engage with conservation organizations working in the watershed to learn more about available cost share and other funding available.

Lunch will be provided.
