Join the Chesapeake Bay Foundation to provide some TLC to trees planted at Red River Foods in the fall of 2023.

We'll weed around the trees, add mulch, replace broken stakes and remove cages. The trees at Red River cool our city, filter air and water pollution and stabilize soil to reduce erosion. They also reduce carbon emissions as well as provide habitat for wildlife.

No prior experience is necessary! We will provide all tools, gloves, and instructions. Wear weather-appropriate clothes, sturdy shoes, and bring your own water bottle. Please register so we can bring the appropriate number of tools.

Please keep in mind that we have limited the number of volunteers who can participate in this event. If you find that your schedule or health prevents you from being able to attend, please let me know so another volunteer can attend in your place.
