Join CBF for maintenance of an established forested riparian buffer in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where you will help weed, replant trees, and repair and maintain tree shelters. Riparian buffers—trees, shrubs, or other vegetation along a stream or waterway—are an important tool to improve the health of the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem and local waterways. As we work, you'll learn about the key role trees play in mitigating harmful environmental conditions and improve water quality. Address will be provided to attendees after they register.

This event is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation through the Environmental Stewardship Fund.
