Joe Wood, Virginia Senior Scientist with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, will examine the growing impacts of rising water temperatures on the Chesapeake Bay. This session will explore how warming waters can influence fish and shellfish populations, water quality, dissolved oxygen levels, and overall ecosystem health, while highlighting the challenges and opportunities facing the Bay in a changing climate.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a pre-event reception. The program begins at 6:00 p.m.

This event is part of Climate Connections, a CBF Learning Series. Climate Connections is a free public lecture series that brings together diverse community voices to share expertise, insights, and experiences on the urgent challenges of climate change and its impacts on the Chesapeake Bay.
