Join us at CBF's Clagett Farm for an immersive high tunnel workshop tailored for beginning, small-acreage, and urban farmers! Hear from high tunnel experts on essential structural considerations, integrated pest management strategies, innovative techniques and best practices for maximizing profitability. Learn about high tunnel cost-share programs from an NRCS representative. Attendees will have the opportunity to rotate between speakers, gaining comprehensive insights into successfully managing high tunnels and acquiring knowledge that will empower them on their farming journey!

There is bus transportation to and from the event with pickup locations in Baltimore City and D.C.

The Baltimore pickup location will be at the Farm Alliance of Baltimore office located at 2801 Sisson St. Suite 202 Baltimore, MD, 21211 (map & accessibility info here) and will be departing at 11:40am sharp. For day-of questions about this pickup, please contact me at 240-688-1247.

The DC pickup location will be at the Lowes in Fort Lincoln at 2438 Market Street NE, Washington, DC 20018. The bus will be parked in the back of the parking lot. The bus will depart at 12:00pm. For day-of questions about this pick-up, please contact Jonathan Arendale at 571-457-0125.

If you will not be utilizing the bus transportation, I encourage you to carpool to this event as parking space is limited! Additionally, please use the Old Marlboro Pike Entrance, otherwise you’ll have to do some maneuvering through old and winding country roads!
