Join the Chesapeake Bay Foundation as we construct a bioswale at Lafayette Park. Bioswales are long channels or trenches that are designed to reduce polluted stormwater runoff and provide additional habitat for pollinators. The native plants will provide shade, stormwater control, and habitat. All are welcome! Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

This event will take place over two days. Join us for one or both of them:

• Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. (prep day to remove turf)
  
• Friday, April 12 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. (planting and mulching)
  
• Wednesday, Aptil 17th from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. (planting and mulching)
