REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Registration closes December 6, 2022.

Join CBF for this tree planting in the Upper James River Watershed on Moffats and Otts creeks in Raphine, Virginia. We will be working with Boxerwood Education Association of Lexington, Virginia. They are counting this planting for COREworks, their donation-based carbon offset program involving solar energy production and carbon sequestration projects solely in Rockbridge County.

Wear weather-appropriate clothes, sturdy shoes, and bring your own gloves and water bottles. We will also provide water and snacks. Please register so we can bring the appropriate number of tools.

COVID-19 Precautions:

  • We will provide each volunteer with a shovel and any other necessary equipment.
  • We will sanitize equipment prior to volunteer use and upon return.
  • We strongly recommend that attendees of our outdoor events are vaccinated, and if not, that you wear a mask.
  • For the health and safety of our volunteers, CBF requires that all volunteers complete CBF's Health and COVID Screening Form prior to engaging in any volunteer efforts. This includes conducting a personal COVID health screening prior to the start of the event.
  • If you or an immediate family member have symptoms of, or have been diagnosed with, COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from participating and contact the event manager directly to cancel, make alternative plans, or if you have questions.
