CBF invites teachers and their students to an all-day education event in Central Pennsylvania!. Hosted by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Conodoguinet Creek Watershed Association, and Silver Spring Township, the Fourth Annual BioBlitz will take place at the Vincent DiFilippo Nature Preserve, a 54-acre natural resource area nestled along the Conodoguinet Creek.

As a vital tributary to the Susquehanna River, data gathered from the Conodoguinet can be used in efforts to improve water quality in Pennsylvania and further downstream. During the BioBlitz, students will gain real world experience as they collect scientific data and learn about restoration practices. Stations will include biotic surveys, abiotic water quality, herpetology, botany, and riparian buffers.
