It's time for Maryland oyster gardening return events! Thanks to your hard work, your mature oysters are ready to be transplanted to a sanctuary reef, where they will continue to grow, spawn, and help jump-start local oyster populations. This event will serve as an open drop off. If you must drop off prior to the event start time you must make prior arrangements so that we can track all oysters returned.

We suggest transporting your mature oysters in bins or buckets so that excess water and critters do not escape in your car. Transport without any water. Remember, oysters can survive out of the water for hours, especially in cooler conditions. At the return we will empty your oysters into our bushel baskets before getting a spat count.
