DESCRIPTION: REGISTRATION REQUIRED. This event is for current Virginia oyster gardeners only.\nRegistration closes July 19, 2026. \nThanks to your hard work over the last year, your oysters are ready to be transplanted onto a sanctuary reef where they will continue to create habitat, filter water, grow, and add to local oyster populations!\nDrive through anytime during this hour-and-a-half event to drop off your year-old oysters and pick up new batches of spat-on-shell for the year.\n\nTo ensure that we have all the supplies ready for you, please register as follows:\nPlease register for the total number of new batches of spat-on-shell that you want—this will include oysters ONLY; you must register for complimentary replacement cages if you need them.\nImportant Note: If you were a new gardener last year, you received ONE batch of oysters split between two cages.\n\nChoose Private Gardener ticket if you will continue to grow oysters from a privately owned dock. This includes your primary or secondary residence or if you are growing at the property of a friend or family member.\nChoose Public Gardener ticket if you are growing at a public location that was assigned to you by CBF, such as a park, marina, business, etc.\nWhen registering for replacement cages, please register for the total number of new cages that you need. There is no cost for additional cages, but we are traveling long distances to some events, so you must reserve them during online registration or we will not have them with us.\nRegister for Drop Off Only if you are not continuing as an oyster gardener and are just dropping off your year-old oysters.\n\nPlease give your cages and oysters a good cleaning before bringing them to the roundup event. Almost everyone working the events are volunteers and a clean setup helps make the job so much safer and easier for our event team!\nWe’re committed to making our events accessible to everyone. If you need any accommodations to participate, please reach out to oystergardener@cbf.org . We will do our best to meet your needs.\nYour registration includes periodic email updates from CBF. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email you receive from us.\n \n\nFor details, click here: https://events.cbf.org/26-nn-roundup
